Well today was a BIG day for Austin. He FINALLY lost his front tooth after days of eating only applesauce. He has an iron will and would not allow anyone to help him pull it. ("But Mom," he would say, "if I lose it at school the teacher will let me pick from the treasure box and get a sticker.") That was his excuse for days. He was crying from hunger, and so today Mark and I held him down while we finally "pulled" it out. It was hilarious. Mark BARELY touched it and it came out without Austin even knowing. It was seriously HANGING by a thread. Afterwards, Mark said, Okay Austin...you pull it out now. Austin reached up to feel his tooth and it was gone! He thought that was pretty funny. Good job Austin. Only 18 more to go.

Happy 100th day!
Austin got to celebrate his 100th day of school by creating a project made from 100 things. He came up with the idea of glueing 100 "eyeballs" on a t-shirt and making a monster with 100 eyes! BRILLIANT! (however glue gun +little fingers = small skin burns.) He proudly wore it to school and not one eyeball fell off!!! Thanks Austin for being so dang creative, fun and most of all spontaneous. You add so much fun to our family.
